We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we handle your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which includes information such as the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the request, amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the request. This access data is used solely to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offerings. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offering according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

1.1 Server Log Files

The provider of the pages collects and automatically stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits to us automatically. These include:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

There is no merging of this data with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

2. Data Processing for Contract Fulfillment and Contact

2.1 Data Processing for Contract Fulfillment

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the course of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need the data to process the contract or your contact inquiry, and without providing this data, you cannot complete the order or send the contact inquiry. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms.
We use the data you provide to process the contract and handle your inquiries (including inquiries and processing of any warranty and service disruption claims, as well as any legal update obligations) in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Further information on the processing of your data, particularly regarding the transfer to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment, and shipping processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiration of any tax and commercial retention periods in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or we reserve further data usage that is legally permissible and which we inform you about in this declaration.

2.2 Contact

In the context of customer communication, we collect personal data to process your inquiries according to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, if you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need the data to process your contact inquiry. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. After your inquiry has been fully processed, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or we reserve further data usage that is legally permissible and which we inform you about in this declaration.

3. Data Processing for Production and Shipping Management

To fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, we pass your data to the production and shipping service providers responsible for production and delivery as far as necessary for the production and delivery of ordered goods.

Your data is used exclusively for processing your orders and communicating with you. However, we share your data with our dropshipping partner company to facilitate the production and shipping of your products. Our partner company operates in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and uses your data solely for the purpose of order processing.

4. Data Processing for Payment Processing

In processing payments in our online shop, we work with the following partners: technical service providers, credit institutions, payment service providers.

4.1 Data Processing for Transaction Handling

Depending on the chosen payment method, we forward the data necessary for processing the payment transaction to our technical service providers, who act on our behalf as processors, or to the commissioned credit institutions or selected payment service providers, as far as necessary for processing the payment. This serves the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Some payment service providers collect the necessary data for processing the payment themselves, e.g., on their own website or through technical integration in the order process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this regard.
If you have questions about our payment processing partners and the basis of our collaboration with them, please contact us using the contact information described in this privacy policy.

4.2 Data Processing for Fraud Prevention and Optimization of Our Payment Processes

We may provide our service providers with additional data, which they use in conjunction with the data necessary for processing the payment as our processors for fraud prevention and optimization of our payment processes (e.g., invoicing, handling disputed payments, supporting accounting). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in securing against fraud or in efficient payment management in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

5. Advertising by Email

5.1 Email Newsletter with Registration, Newsletter Tracking with Separate Consent

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to send you our email newsletter regularly based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a designated link in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will remove your email address from the recipient list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or we reserve further data use that is legally permissible and which we inform you about in this declaration.

If you have additionally given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR to analyze our newsletters, we will also analyze your interaction with our newsletter by measuring, storing, and evaluating open rates and click rates for the purpose of designing future newsletter campaigns ("Newsletter Tracking").

For this evaluation, the sent emails contain single-pixel technologies (e.g., so-called web beacons, tracking pixels) stored on our website. For the evaluations, we particularly link the following “newsletter data”:

  • the page from which the page was requested (so-called referrer URL),
  • the date and time of the request,
  • a description of the type of browser used,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer,
  • the email address,
  • the date and time of registration and confirmation

and the single-pixel technologies with your email address or IP address and possibly an individual ID. Links included in the newsletter may also contain this ID.

Unsubscribing from newsletter tracking is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the described contact option or via a designated link in the newsletter.

The information is stored as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter.

We use technologies that are strictly necessary for certain functions of our website (e.g., shopping cart functionality). These technologies collect and process IP addresses, visit times, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website (e.g., shopping cart content). This is done to protect our legitimate interests in optimizing the presentation of our offerings in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We also use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations we are subject to (e.g., to be able to prove consents to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analytics and online marketing. 7. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies for Web Analytics and Advertising Purposes

If you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, we use the following cookies and other technologies from third parties on our website. After the purpose has been achieved and the technology is no longer used by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. More information about your withdrawal options can be found in the "Cookies and Other Technologies" section. Further information, including the basis of our collaboration with individual providers, can be found with each technology. 7.1 Use of Google Services for Web Analytics and Advertising Purposes

We use the following technologies from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is generally transferred to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA. Our collaboration with them is based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission. If your IP address is collected through Google technologies, it will be shortened before being stored on Google's servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics

For website analysis purposes, Google Analytics collects and stores data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) automatically, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address is generally not combined with other Google data. Data processing is based on an agreement with Google on order processing.

For optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for "Google Products and Services". This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between controllers. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

For creating and conducting tests, we also use the Google Analytics Google Optimize extension.

For optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called User-ID feature. With this feature, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data across one or more sessions on our online presence and thus analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.

For web analysis, the Google Analytics Google Signals extension enables so-called "Cross-Device Tracking." If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behavior (especially cross-device user numbers), even if you switch devices. We do not process personal data in this regard; we only receive statistics created based on Google Signals.

For web analytics and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension uses the so-called DoubleClick cookie to recognize your browser when visiting other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activities and provide additional services related to website usage.

Google AdSense

Our website markets ad space from third parties through Google AdSense. These ads are displayed to you at various locations on this website. The so-called DoubleClick cookie enables the display of interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and automatically assigning a pseudonymous UserID, which helps determine interests based on visits to this and other websites.

Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results and on third-party websites, when you visit our website, the so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and using a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you visited. Further data processing occurs only if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. If you are logged in to Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent user behavior using Google Ads Conversion Tracking when you arrive at our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events we specify, such as visiting a page or subscribing to a newsletter) is collected to create usage profiles using pseudonyms.

Google Maps

To visually display geographic information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the Maps features, including IP address and location data, which is transmitted to Google and then processed by Google. We have no control over this subsequent data processing.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect against misuse of our web forms and spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, visit time, browser information, and information about your use of our website) and performs an analysis of your use of our website using JavaScript and cookies. Additionally, other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are evaluated. No reading or storing of personal data from the input fields of the respective form occurs.

YouTube Video Plugin

To embed third-party content, data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information) is collected, transmitted to Google, and processed by Google only when you play a video, using the extended privacy mode provided by the YouTube Video Plugin we use.

7.2 Use of META Services (formerly Facebook) for Web Analytics and Advertising Purposes

Use of META Pixel (formerly Facebook)

We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies provided by  Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or “Meta Platforms Ireland”). The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, visit time, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on specified events such as visiting a page or subscribing to a newsletter), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. As part of the so-called advanced matching, information is also hashed and stored for matching purposes, which can identify individuals (e.g., names, email addresses, and phone numbers). For this purpose, the Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie during your visit to our website, which allows for the recognition of your browser on other websites using a pseudonymous cookie ID. Facebook (by Meta) will merge this information with other data from your Facebook account to generate reports on website activities and provide additional services related to website usage, especially personalized and group-based advertising.

The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA. If the data transfer to the USA falls under our responsibility, our cooperation is based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in the  Facebook (by Meta) Privacy Policy.

 Facebook Analytics

Using Facebook Business Tools, statistics about visitor activities on our website are created from the data collected by the Facebook Pixel. The data processing is based on an agreement with Facebook (by Meta) regarding order processing. Your analysis helps in the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.

 Facebook Ads (Ads Manager)

Through Facebook Ads, we advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) and other platforms. We determine the parameters of each advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the exact execution, especially the decision on the placement of ads for individual users. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers according to Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered.

Based on the statistics created by the Facebook Pixel regarding visitor activities on our website, we carry out  Custom Audience  group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta), by defining the characteristics of the target audience. In the context of the advanced matching (see above) to determine the respective target group, Facebook (by Meta) acts as our processor.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the collected data about your usage behavior on our website, we carry out  Remarketing  personalized advertising through Facebook Pixel.

Using Facebook Pixel  Conversions, we measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analysis and event tracking if you arrived at our website through a Facebook Ads advertisement. Data processing is based on an agreement with Facebook (by Meta) regarding order processing.

8. Social Media

8.1 Social Plugins from Facebook (by Meta), Instagram (by Meta), Pinterest

Our website uses social buttons from social networks. These are only embedded as HTML links on the page, so no connection with the servers of the respective provider is established when you visit our website. If you click on one of the buttons, the website of the respective social network will open in a new window of your browser, where you can, for example, press the Like or Share button.

8.2 Our Online Presence on Facebook (by Meta), Instagram (by Meta), YouTube

To the extent you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR to the respective social media operator, when you visit our online presences on the mentioned social media platforms, your data will be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes, from which pseudonymous usage profiles are created. These can be used to place ads both within and outside the platforms that presumably match your interests. Cookies are usually used for this purpose. Detailed information about the processing and use of data by the respective social media operator, as well as contact options and your rights and settings to protect your privacy, can be found in the privacy notices linked below.
